Growing the team at Brown Wright Stein!
We are thrilled to announce the promotion of Dean Schubert to Partner at Brown Wright Stein, effective today, 1 July 2025.
Since joining our firm in 2013, Dean has become an integral member of our Workplace Relations and Safety team, and a trusted advisor across the firm. As a Law Society of New South Wales Accredited Specialist in Employment and Industrial Law, Dean is known for his pragmatic, strategic advice and his ability to deliver practical solutions that reduce risk and cost for clients. He acts for a wide range of clients, from SMEs to global retail brands, and also partners with human resource consultancy firms to assist them and their clients. He has extensive experience in matters involving employment and independent contractor relationships, unfair dismissal, general protections, anti-bullying and discrimination matters, work health and safety compliance, and SafeWork investigations.
Dean brings to our team deep experience from his earlier roles at a specialist workplace law firm and as an associate to a presidential member at Fair Work Australia (now the Fair Work Commission). He holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Employment Relations from Griffith University and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Newcastle.
“Dean’s elevation to Partner reflects not only his outstanding technical expertise, but also his unwavering commitment to our clients and our team,” said Peter Wright, Partner at Brown Wright Stein. “We are excited to see Dean continue to build on his success and leadership in this new role.”
