Eleanor is an Associate at Brown Wright Stein Lawyers within our dispute resolution team.  Eleanor joined our firm in 2019 and was admitted as a solicitor in the same year.

Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Laws and International Studies, as well as a Diploma in Languages (Spanish), from the University of Adelaide.

Eleanor has experience in a wide range of dispute matters ranging from property, partnership and taxation disputes through to contractual and Corporations Act disputes including breaches of directors’ duties and debt recovery.

She advises corporations, owner-managed businesses, and high net worth individuals across jurisdictions in New South Wales including the District Court, Supreme Court and Federal Court, navigating disputes to negotiated settlements.

Eleanor's recent experience includes:

  • prosecuting a claim on behalf of a shareholder and beneficiary of a trust in relation to breaches of trust, breaches of fiduciary duties, knowing involvement in breaches of trust, and knowing receipt of trust property;

  • advising and acting for property owners in relation to claims of equitable ownership of their property by a third party;

  • acting for property owners in relation to a dispute over access to, and the proposed extinguishment of, a right of way (in respect of which their properties benefitted);

  • advising and acting for a shareholder in relation to oppressive conduct;

  • advising and acting for landlords and tenants in relation to property disputes;

  • acting for a beneficiary and former executor in a complex estate dispute worth many millions;

  • advising and acting for plaintiffs and defendants in respect of disputes involving breaches of contract;

  • acting for applicants and affected parties in relation to reinstatement applications in the Supreme Court and the Federal Court.

Outside of work, Eleanor enjoys swimming, travel, going to the beach and spending time with friends and family.
