Clement Lo joined Brown Wright Stein Lawyers in December 2018 and is a Senior Associate in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.  He has advised clients of all sizes in a variety of commercial disputes, particularly in contractual, trade practices and building and construction matters.  He also has experience in Corporations Act, shareholder and lease disputes and conducted litigation in all New South Wales courts (including the Court of Appeal), as well as the Federal Court of Australia and Supreme Court of Queensland.

Clement is passionate about obtaining commercially beneficial outcomes for his clients and advises clients on their dispute resolution and litigation strategy with that in mind. 

Recent experience includes:

  • acting for a fruit exporter in sale of goods and Australian Consumer Law litigation;

  • acting for a fitness industry franchisor in a dispute with a franchisee;

  • acting for a builder in a complex building contract variations arbitration;

  • advising an automotive industry start up on anticipated technology contract litigation;

  • obtaining judgment in the Supreme Court of NSW against a loan broker who enticed the client lender to advance money on the basis of misleading and deceptive representations.

Outside of law, Clement spends time with his young family, is a member of the board of the Australian Fellowship of Evangelical Students and plays the cello in the Eastern Sydney Chamber Orchestra.
